We were born from real frustration
CuidaHome started because someone had to choose a camera to watch over their parents' property and found themselves drowning in copied "Top 10" pages, incomprehensible spec sheets and salespeople determined to push the most expensive model.
We decided to build the site we wished we had found: clear explanations, comparisons made with judgement, and solutions organised by the problem you have, not by product type. Because most people don't need to know what a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor is โ they need to know how to watch their house when they go on holiday.
Today CuidaHome is a well-established project that helps thousands of families make informed decisions about useful technology, without jargon and without commercial pressure.
What we want to achieve
That no family spends money on the wrong technology because of badly explained information.
Situation-based guides
We start with the real problem ("my dog keeps escaping", "the power keeps going out") and from there we derive the technical solution. Not the other way around.
Clear language
No unnecessary jargon. If we need to explain what watt-hours are, we explain them using everyday examples.
Honest comparisons
We say when a product is NOT right for you. If EcoFlow is better for your case, we recommend it even if the BLUETTI commission is higher.
Total independence
