💚 Summary in one line
Some of the links on CuidaHome are affiliate links. If you buy through them, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you — and that lets us keep publishing honest and free guides.
1. What are affiliate links?
An affiliate link is a special link to an online store (such as Amazon, EcoFlow, BLUETTI or others) that includes a unique identifier associated with CuidaHome. If you click on one of these links and buy a product, the store pays us a small commission for having recommended the product to you.
Most importantly: the price you pay is exactly the same as if you had gone directly to the store. The commission is paid by the store, not by the buyer.
2. Affiliate programs we participate in
CuidaHome.com participates or may participate in the following affiliate programs, among others:
- Amazon Associates: CuidaHome is a participant in the Amazon EU Associates Programme, an affiliate advertising programme designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.es, Amazon.com and other Amazon websites.
- Direct manufacturer programs: EcoFlow, BLUETTI, Jackery, Anker, Tractive, Reolink and other relevant brands in home security, portable energy and pet technology.
- Affiliate platforms: Awin, Tradedoubler, Impact, CJ Affiliate and similar.
3. How we identify affiliate links
At CuidaHome.com we are committed to being transparent about which links are affiliate links. We identify them in several ways:
- Through visible notices within guides and comparisons, near the purchase links.
- Through a permanent notice at the foot of every product page.
- With this affiliate policy accessible from the footer of the entire site.
If at any time you spot an affiliate link that is not properly identified, we would be grateful if you would let us know at contact@cuidahome.com.
4. Our editorial principles
The fact that we have affiliate links does not affect the recommendations we make. These are the principles we apply without exception:
We recommend what works
We only recommend products we consider to be genuinely good options for the user's specific problem.
Honest pros and cons
Every recommendation includes its strengths and its limitations. If a product has problems, we point them out.
No paid recommendations
We do not accept payment to recommend a specific product. Positions in our comparisons cannot be bought.
Independent research
We compare products based on specifications, real user reviews and our own experience.
We say "don't buy"
If a product is not right for you even though it would generate commission, we say so clearly. Your trust is worth more than a sale.
Free for you
All our guides and comparisons are free and always will be. There are no paywalls or subscriptions.
5. Cookies and affiliate links
When you click on an affiliate link, the destination store (Amazon, EcoFlow, etc.) may install cookies in your browser to identify that you come from CuidaHome.com and attribute the corresponding commission if you eventually make a purchase. These cookies are the responsibility of the merchant, not of CuidaHome.
For more information, see our Cookie Policy.
6. Prices and availability
Prices and availability of products shown on CuidaHome.com may change at any time without prior notice. Although we strive to keep information up-to-date, we always recommend that you check the final price in the store before making a purchase.
CuidaHome is not responsible for any possible differences between the price shown in our guides and the actual price in the store at the time of purchase.
7. Warranties, returns and customer service
CuidaHome.com does not sell products directly. Purchases are made in third-party stores (Amazon, manufacturers, etc.), so all matters related to the purchase — warranties, returns, shipping, customer service, invoices — are the exclusive responsibility of the store where you made the purchase.
If you have any problems with an order, you should contact the store where you bought it directly.
8. Your support matters
If CuidaHome has been useful to you and you want to support the project, the best way to do so is to buy through our links when you're going to make a purchase you had already planned. It's free for you, and you help us keep creating honest, high-quality content.
Thanks for reading us and trusting us. 💚
