GPS for cats: different from dogs
Cats present unique challenges for tracking: they're smaller (the device can't weigh more than 10% of their body weight), they wear breakaway collars, and their movements are stealthier and more unpredictable than dogs.
The accessory a cat wears should not exceed 10% of their body weight. For a 30g GPS, the cat must weigh at least 300g. For real use, look for 25β35g GPS for cats over 3 kg.
